Visiting hours are every day from 9 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 8 pm.
If you can't get to the facility during visiting hours, we may be able to arrange another time for you to visit. Talk to the staff in charge to see what we can do.

The Sub-Acute Care Unit (SACU) offers a 48-bed care and rehabilitation facility located at Infinite Care Edge Hill Orchards Lodge.
We care for older people and those needing rehabilitation, such as patients recovering from a stroke or a hip operation. It is also an enabling environment for the care of people living with dementia.
SACU acts as an external ward of the Cairns Hospital and has the full support of nurses, allied health professionals and specialist doctors on site covering the facility 24/7. It is close to the hospital if patients require any emergency care.
If we don't offer the services you need, you'll be able to access them at Cairns Hospital or your closest hospital or health centre.
